The buffet selection was a bit limited though. It was not as expansive as those in other hotels. Nonetheless, the restaurant did provide a variety of choices. It had the basics covered - warm dishes, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals and the like, greens, fruits and bread selections.
Bacon was what I enjoyed the most. Being based in Dubai, pork bacon can be a luxury. I noticed the difference in the bacon served on both occasions I went for breakfast. The first day, it was thin and crispy while the second time it was thick and tender. Both were good in my opinion. Two items in the buffet caught my attention the most - french toast and cashew juice. The french toast was sprinkled with sugar and I don't recall ever seeing one before. It was odd at first because I wasn't used to my toast being sweet but it quickly grew on me. That was the only bread I had on my second visit. The cashew juice was very intriguing because despite having this fruit available in my home country (Philippines), I have never heard of it being served as a juice. I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious it was. In fact, it was very similar to cloudy apple juice which is among my favourites. I liked it so much that I did not try any other drink.
I enjoyed the food here at Aromatique. It is a good option for a long sit down breakfast, preferably with a colleague or friend.
