An Experience to Forget – The Shame of Lolla Meets Fire If you’re looking for a restaurant where the service is bad from the moment you walk in the door until you’re practically kicked out, then Lolla Meets Fire is the place to go. Our experience began with a visibly grumpy waiter who seemed to be doing us a huge favor by simply existing. We ordered wine and, as the meal progressed, we noticed that he didn’t bother to check if our glasses were empty – perhaps he thought we had to beg for another glass. The food? Mediocre. The meat was cooked just right, but with that temperature that made it seem like it had been waiting a long time on the counter before arriving at our table. Nothing impressive or worth the price. But the real horror show came at the end. Without us asking, the waiter threw the bill on our table and the table next to us, as if we were taking up space inappropriately. The embarrassment was general. The couple next door were as surprised as we were, and my wife even asked if they were in a hurry to see us out. The waiter, disconcerted, stammered that they weren't, but the damage had already been done. Lolla Meets Fire is not worth your visit, your time, or your money. Unless you enjoy being poorly served, ignored, and, in the end, practically kicked out as if you were an inconvenience. Never again. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
