Unfortunately, my experience at the Giz Cozinha Boêmia restaurant was extremely disappointing. I made a reservation for Friday, at 5pm, for a company get-together and was informed that I should arrive on time, as, due to the capacity of the house, the reserved chairs would be removed if there was a delay. I arrived at exactly 5pm and, to my surprise, I was informed that my table would only be available at 6pm. Meanwhile, I was directed to a table with just 2 seats. My guests arrived soon after, and we all stood inside the restaurant, next to the table, waiting for more than 1h20 until they freed up the space, which only happened after 6:20pm after they removed a car from the parking lot to organize our table. At no point was I warned in advance that it would not be possible to accommodate the group at 5pm, which would have avoided this embarrassment. Furthermore, the behavior of the manager (or person responsible for the place) was extremely rude. He asked us to wait outside while they organized the table, ignoring the fact that we had been inside this whole time and that we would be tired from standing for so long. I explained the situation and asked for guidance, but the answer was that we should leave the restaurant as we would be IN THE WAY OF HIM, even though we were eating there. What was supposed to be a year-end celebration, full of laughter and good times, ended up becoming a frustrating experience for me and all my guests. The total lack of organization, communication and unpreparedness in service made this celebration the worst we have ever had. We chose Giz Cozinha Boêmia with so much care, but the disregard and disrespectful way we were treated demonstrated that the customer is not a priority here. I hope you review your processes and the training of your team, especially in communicating with customers and handling reservations.
