I went to Zanza on a very cold Saturday night, I arrived early because I knew it would be very crowded, the house already had a few tables occupied but it was still quiet, I chose to sit in the garden area even with the cold, the garden was covered protecting from the wind and had a portable fireplace and blankets available. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with soft light, modern decoration, everything is very pleasant, I went with a friend and the first impressions were good. We ordered two drinks to start, which took a while to arrive but ok. The service is not the most attentive but nothing that bothers you, there are a lot of people in the salon so you can get service without a problem. I had high expectations, it is very difficult to find a good place to eat seafood in Porto Alegre and due to the hype I thought that finally the city would have a good option but unfortunately not. We ordered an eggplant sandwich (vegetarian friend) and the sandwich was ok, nothing special, the natural fermentation bread was the highlight of the sandwich and the breaded eggplant was a little greasy, I ordered a mules frites (R$55) and since the When the dish arrived at the table, I was wondering if there had been a problem and if they had taken the mussels out of the shell because I've never seen a mussel so small, the little meat there was in there had gone over the point, the sauce was completely without salt - I had to order it separately - and without flavor, the fries were good but didn't look like home-made potatoes - I could be wrong. After that I decided to order a pastel de octopus con copa (R$27) from the special winter menu, from now on I decided not to order any more dishes because the pastel was filled with a paste, without octopus flavor, without cup flavor, with a lot of I taste like cornstarch, the filling was a cornbread and the pastry dough was thick and not crunchy, so everything became one thing in the mouth without much contrast and without joy. The authorial drinks were well executed but nothing surprising, the long neck 14 reais and the bottle of house wine we ordered was missing. The experience was quite disappointing, as I said expectations were high, I looked at some other dishes I saw in the dining room and the appearance was good but seafood is definitely not the strong point of the house. It is well located and the environment is attractive because it is cozy but the quality of the food is lacking, high prices for a delivery much below expectations. I think I could give other dishes a chance but unfortunately I leave the restaurant without much desire to return. Price per person: R$200+ Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
