The service is always average/reasonable, dishes take a long time, today the griddle wasn't working and they didn't serve anything on the menu in any other way, for example heating the bread in the oven and not on the griddle, claiming “they don't serve anything outside the house's standard”, this rigidity of not being able to have any modifications according to the customer's preference, because they cannot serve anything different from what they have as standard - responded with some harshness from the attendants. I have been to this place several times and I agree with the opinions that the service leaves much to be desired. The first time I was ignored and no one came to serve me at the table. Eventually I got my order, cafe de casa, but not a full cup because there was no coffee. They were supposed to make extra money and top it up. They didn't do it. When paying, of course they charged for the whole cup. The second time, they charged me an unfair service fee, trying to take advantage of the fact that I might not look at the bill and claim it. Given the name The Slow bakery, you could assume that they knew at least a little English. They do not know. It's hard to communicate without Portuguese. They produce an awful lot of waste, they pack bread and croissants in paper and bags... They are not very ecological. It must be admitted that the bread and sweet pastries are very tasty, prices 1 to 1 like in Europe.
