O restaurante é excelente e tem ótimos pratos, diria que é um dos melhores do Rio. Mas, por duas vezes, tive péssimas experiências com o serviço, me sentindo enganado pelos garçons. Na primeira vez, ofereceram uma entrada que não estava no menu, não informaram o preço, e ela custava 5x mais do que as outras entradas do menu. Na segunda vez, quando o garçom trouxe as bebidas para a mesa, ele trouxe uma gin tônica de "cortesia", pois o barman teria feito e havia sobrado. Ninguém na mesa queria tomar uma gin tônica, mas como era de cortesia eu aceitei. Quando chegou a conta, o drink foi cobrado. Eu reclamei e não fizeram nada. Não foi a primeira vez que me senti feito de trouxa pelo staff do restaurante, e por isso decidi fazer esta avaliação. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Infelizmente não atendeu às nossas expectativas. Tinha ido no Chez Claude de São Paulo e foi infinitamente melhor. Todos os pratos pedidos estavam apenas razoáveis. Não foi a mesma experiência de São Paulo. A cozinha fica exposta com um monte de panela velha e só tem um banheiro unisex. Sobremesa mais ou menos . Enfim, não voltarei. Só se for em São Paulo. We would give this place ten stars if we could. Our party of four was amazed by the green bean and tuna appetizers, steak special, fish specialty, cheesecake and chocolate cake desserts. Our dining experience was made even more special because we sat right next to the open kitchen. The waitress encouraged engagement with watching as dishes were made and taking pictures. Another Michelin guide Chez Claude, was interesting how the food has different flavours combinations. The food was very good the duck with passion fruit and the steak tartare were amazing and tasty. Food was very good - highlights were the ravioli, Magret with passion fruit puree, and cheesecake with canastra cheese. The fondant and drinks were also divine Service was not good at all. Waiter seemed tired, and was very inattentive. Upon entering the restaurant he placed us in between two tightly packed tables, even though there were many other tables free, with more space around. Upon asking to move tables halfway through the dinner, as there was an extremely loud and rude gentleman sitting next to us, I had to ask twice, only to be met by an extended “stop” hand by the waiter the second time I asked. We were unable to move tables, and the waiter never followed up to even confirm if it was possible. After deciding to pay him 10% service, (out of respect and solidarity as the service honestly didn’t deserve it), instead of the 12% suggested by the restaurant, he came back and asked us why there was an amount missing. Totally unprofessional. The atmosphere was also rather stuffy, (we sat outside), and our chairs/table were placed over a sewage grate. When we were seated, my partner’s chair was placed right over the sewage grate, so that the leg of the chair fell right through the hole of the sewage grates opening. After seeing this, the waiter made no effort to change our tables either, and did not even apologize. The restaurant needs to improve the service and atmosphere to respect its amazing cuisine. We came here for a date night, and I would not recommend it for this type of occasion. The environment was anything but romantic. The restaurant perfectly reflects the essence of Chef Claude: it is unpretentious, friendly and well-integrated. There are options ranging from more classic dishes to unusual combinations — and everything we tried was delicious, with incredible sauces. We were welcomed by Luiz, who brilliantly guided us in choosing dishes and drinks, making every suggestion spot on. We went to Cantina do Claude, an Italian restaurant attached to Chez Claude. There, you can order from both Cantina and Chez (they give you both menus when you arrive). Sensational main dishes, arrived piping hot on the table, good sized portions and quality ingredients. I loved! I can't say the same about the dessert, the Tiramisu is very bad, a block of frozen mascarpone on top of an almond crunch, it has nothing to do with a Tiramisu. It looked more like a popsicle. The environment is very unpleasant, the chairs are uncomfortable and there is no air conditioning, it was terribly hot that day. Excellent service, very attentive and kind. We went as two couples. An absurdly different experience from SP. We ordered a Prime Rib which says it serves two people. It came wrapped in a nerve that made it impossible to even cut with a knife. The ladies ordered two shrimp risottos. And there were exactly two tiny shrimp on each plate. It's not worth the price of more than a thousand reais charged. Discredits the chef's name. The fish with caramelized banana and puree was AWESOME! The octopus rice is also very good...perfect octopus point. The dulce de leche cheesecake was wonderful and to end the night, Claude was there all friendly, sitting at the customers' tables. EXCELLENT Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A formidable experience! We arrived without a reservation, so, after a long wait, we got a table and were presented with creative, delicious and very well prepared dishes with the cheerful presence of Claude circulating in the kitchen!
