Yesterday, my boyfriend and I visited your pizzeria with great expectations, as we imagined it would be a rotation, as advertised on Instagram. However, upon arriving (after more than 40 minutes of travel), we discovered that, in fact, it was a pizza “festival”, something that was not previously reported on social media. We were instructed to order specific pizza flavors, as long as we finished them all. We understand the idea of avoiding waste, but the lack of warning and clarity about how it works left the experience confusing from the start. My boyfriend, who likes healthier options, opted for the gluten-free pasta, but the attendant informed us that it was only available in the large size (we don't know if this information was correct). Also, during the festival, there was no option to order slices to try more varieties. We chose three savory pizzas, but unfortunately the flavors were weak and heavy. They didn't have pepper to improve the lack of seasoning, the only ketchup available was very strong and the “olive oil” seemed to be oil, both in terms of smell and taste, which was quite unpleasant. Service at the beginning was also problematic, as it seemed like the waiters hadn't arrived yet. Although friendly, the attendant who initially served us was visibly inexperienced. Only later did the attendant Marcelo arrive and manage to improve the experience a little with his friendliness and attention. On the other hand, I really liked the sweet pizza I ordered for dessert. Their dough, in this case, was much lighter and the flavor was really delicious. It was the only part of the experience that managed to please me, and it would be great if the savory pizzas had the same quality as the dessert. Unfortunately, my boyfriend was very ill that night. He had to eat almost three large pizzas that were not good. It was the worst experience we've ever had at a pizza “rodízio” (or festival). I believe that, if the festival's intention is to be a more sustainable and financially viable option, it is essential to improve communication with customers, both on social media and on site. Informing in advance about the format and offering the possibility of smaller pizzas or lighter options would be essential. We left sad and regretful, and my boyfriend is still feeling very sick to this day. Having had good experiences in the past with other similar pizzerias, such as Tribas Pizzas in Ipanema, which unfortunately has now closed, we were even more disappointed. I hope you consider this feedback to improve the experience of future customers, as as it stands, it is difficult to recommend or return.
