I don't have much patience for writing reviews, but today I was forced to waste part of my precious time to evaluate my (disappointing) experience at Sky Gurume. To begin with, I consider myself a very fair person, and so I can't help but report what was good: the food was great, that's a fact! From the starter to the dessert, I liked everything, and that is the only reason why I give, with great effort, on a scale of 0 to 5, a score of 2 for the establishment. I just think that, when it comes to good food, Goiânia is full of options, so I believe that a restaurant/bar, in order to stand out from the rest, needs to go much further, and the experience I had was definitely lacking in other aspects. Here are the facts: I had, well in advance, requested the reservation of a table for two people that would be close to the windows, in order to enjoy the view that the place offers, to which, upon my request, I received a response from that the restaurant did not have the practice of reserving specific tables/environments, and that the customer would simply have to arrive and choose the place they wanted, as long as it was available. It was naive of me to believe such words, because when I arrived they informed me that all the tables I came across next to the glass, still empty, were reserved for other people, and that on some of them there was a sign indicating “reserved” - the which seemed strange to me - since the house said it was not their practice to reserve tables in a specific location. Already upset with the situation, but still willing to enjoy the night, I chose a table far from the pleasant view I was hoping to enjoy, and went to place my order. The attendant (whom I thank for her attention and who was in no way to blame for the incident), in an act of good will, tried to expose the situation to the manager, who in turn, due to total impossibility or pure ineptitude (I'll never know, after all I saw a table for two people, next to the glass, empty until the moment I left), did nothing to alleviate the terrible impression they were leaving on the customer who was making their first (and now last) visit to the establishment. That said, we hope that everything was just bad luck and the experience will improve afterwards, right? Wrong, obviously! To make things easier, I chose to place my order the New York way: I requested a starter, main course and dessert in a single act, so that the kitchen staff could organize themselves efficiently and could serve the dishes in sequence, that is, like this If one of them ran out, the attendant would collect it and bring the other in sequence. Guess what happened: the starter arrived and, without me even beginning to taste it, the main course also arrived. What kind of restaurant at this level makes such a huge mistake? I had to eat the starter in a hurry so that the main course wouldn't get cold, not to mention that I could barely enjoy the wine as I would have liked. Furthermore, I saw a place that proposes to charge prices as if it were a haute cuisine restaurant, but which offers a service equivalent, at most, to a good bar. I confess that, for those who spent more than R$300.00 on a dinner, there are infinite options with more advantageous cost-benefit in the city, and although I don't have, as I said elsewhere, the patience to write reviews, I will do word-of-mouth. I spoke to all my contacts to explain how pathetic their experience in this place could be. I make this criticism without any hope that you will propose to improve anything, after all, the restaurant had a good crowd, the majority of which were young people who do not have much criteria and/or experience to properly evaluate what a good restaurant should do. offer, then these words remain as a mere act of venting on my part.
