Dear, I would like to express my deep indignation regarding the charging policy and visual communication of prices adopted by Rubim Restaurante e Churrascaria. Today, I visited the establishment with a large group of people for lunch and we were extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency in the visual communication of the prices adopted for each type of meat offered in self-service. When serving us, there was no clear and visible information about the prices of each type of meat. Just when we arrived at the cashier to pay, we were surprised by an exorbitant price, which is largely due to the lack of adequate signage about prices. The only existing indication is a tiny sign placed at the top close to the ceiling where the scale is located, which is not capable of attracting attention when viewed. According to the Consumer Protection Code, prices must be clearly indicated next to the products or be communicated in advance in a clear and distinct way. However, I have never seen anything similar in other restaurants I have visited in Brazil. This lack of visual communication misleads the customer, without the possibility of returning the items if they do not accept the amount charged. When I made a formal complaint to the cashier, I was informed about the existence of the sign, which looked more like the small print on advertising leaflets. It is unacceptable and shameful that a high-traffic establishment adopts such a practice, appearing to only aim for profit at the expense of customer misinformation. I strongly suggest improving the visual communication of the prices of the products offered. Transparency and respect for the customer are essential for good service and consumer loyalty. We hope that attitudes like this are corrected to avoid future unpleasant situations.
