I don't understand the high reviews. The tables were chipped, the chairs filthy, the menu tacky, and the restaurant felt unclean. I left. Customers seem to come here for bragging rights. But when I pay top dollar, I'm expecting cleanliness and a certain decor in return. Five stars for the hostess, but this restaurant wasn't it for me.

Our experience was on 01/07/25 There were 4 of us and each of us ordered a different dish! They were all delicious! The perfect food, with that beautiful view and great service, made our experience truly incredible! We arrived at the restaurant just before lunch service ended. Maybe in another restaurant they wouldn't have served us anymore, but the Maître (unfortunately I don't remember his name right now) was super attentive and allowed us to go in for lunch. Great experience at the Lafayette restaurant in Bahia Marina! Delicious and well prepared food. The service was excellent, with attentive and quick staff. The view is beautiful where it was possible to enjoy the sunset. Super nice atmosphere for a meal. I recommend! It's a great restaurant with great food and great view. But there is no even one person who speaks English, even you can not get English menu.. On our second time there was one person who speaks English which shows how professional is the restaurant. That means they read the reviews and care about it. Excellent service. There was a long queue, but upon entering we were served very quickly, dish adapted for vegans, as it is not on the menu, very good. Delicious drinks, everything arrived quickly. The price is high but it is worth it for the quality of the service. Sitting by the window provides a beautiful view of the sea, but it gets quite hot, so it would be worth turning up the air conditioning. People go there very well, as expected due to the location. Extra compliments to the waiters, very polite!
