Terrible! I would like to register a complaint about Hotel Laguna Blu, although it is questionable to call this establishment a "hotel", as it does not meet the minimum requirements for such a designation. The place lacks accessibility, adequate parking for all guests and any form of receptivity. Our stay was a real disappointment! To begin with, access to the "hotel" is via a poorly lit road, with no shoulder and poor signage, in addition to the signs being all vandalized. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by an employee who didn't even greet us. He immediately requested our documents and gave us a form to fill out, without any trace of modernity. As soon as we completed check-in, we were faced with a nightmare: the room we were assigned emitted a strong odor of urine, had windows infested with ants, a rusty minibar that was leaking water, furniture full of moths and moldy due to the lack of maintenance. The wooden structure of the "hotel" is completely deteriorated by the action of the sea air and neglect in maintenance. The first room we were offered had a view of a thicket and was full of mosquitoes. In an environment built close to nature, one would expect there to be screens on the windows to prevent this type of problem. After complaining, we were offered another room with a "less worse" view of the sea. However, this room was also far from acceptable, with moth cocoons everywhere, including on the ceiling, on the bedding, on the bedside tables and even in the air conditioning. The bathroom, as you can see from the photos, was in deplorable conditions, with walls dirty with dead insects, wasps and slime on the shower walls. The sink was cracked, the switches were covered in dust, and the drains were completely neglected. The balcony could not be used, because when we opened it we were invaded by mosquitoes. The bed linen and towels were yellowed, and we ended up only sleeping in a double bed with our daughter, due to fear of moths. To be able to sleep, we had to buy insecticide spray and plug-in repellent. Breakfast was another nightmare, with stale bread and butter in pots for collective use. As for parking, although advertised as rotating, we found the same cars parked in the spaces since the day we arrived. Furthermore, the lack of ramps makes moving with suitcases quite difficult, and the parking lot gets flooded in the rain due to the lack of adequate drainage. There is no telephone in the rooms, which means that it is necessary to go to reception to request any service or clarify any doubts, which is completely impractical. This "hotel" deserves no more than a 3-star inn rating, and even then with many reservations. If you are planning a vacation in Fortaleza, I suggest you do a lot of research, as, according to the travel agent at CVC Shopping D, this is one of the "least worst" in the city in terms of cost-benefit. Furthermore, there is no direct access to Prainha from the hotel, and guests have to cross a road without pedestrian crossings, without adequate lighting and with a lot of rubbish, which is extremely dangerous. In short, this was the worst hosting experience of our lives, and we do not recommend Hotel Laguna Blu to anyone. Furthermore, we cannot recommend closing travel packages with CVC, much less with agent Carol, who is now at the CVC Aclimação store. The agent neglected several information about the "hotel" and did not offer any support when we reported the problems. On the contrary, she insisted that what was left of our credit with CVC guaranteed us the best option available, which was clearly not the case. This lack of assistance and proper guidance only compounded our negative experience. The photos say more than a thousand words! Instead of responding to customers, I suggest sanitizing the entire "Hotel". Noteworthy details: We changed rooms, we went to the "Less worst", since the first one was infested with ants on the window, smelling of URINE, and the minibar was in no condition for use!
