Maravilhosa! Escolhemos a Taberna para comemorar nosso aniversário de namoro e casamento! Ambiente perfeito! A comida muito deliciosa, entradas e pratos que harmonizam com o nosso paladar. Minha escolha foi no Boeuf Bourguignon com risoto. Um sucesso! (Risoto com carne ao molho) . O atendimento foi excelente, pois os vinhos foram bem sugeridos pelo Neto (aliás, ele realizou todo o atendimento) E pra finalizar: uma sobremesa perfeita! Super indico! A Taberna é um lugar bem incrível e romântico. Ambiente intimista, com opções ótimas de cardápio. É possivel ficar na calçada, em ambiente mais aberto, ou entrar e ficar ao lado do pianista. A equipe é super atenciosa, e aa refeições muito saborosas. Recomendo chegar cedo: a partir das 20h a Taberna enche rápido, e pode dar fila de espera. I had high expectations for Taberna Livorno, but unfortunately, the experience was not as expected. As soon as we walked in the door, the restaurant caught our attention, and we decided to give it a try, even without a reservation. We were very well received and informed that there were only tables available in the Annex, which is, in practice, an improvised space in a garage door. Despite this, the night was beautiful and we found it pleasant to be outside. The service was friendly, especially by the waiter who, despite being on his first day, tried very hard. We followed his suggestion and ordered the Chef's Menu (starter, main course and dessert). The starter was a salmon tartare, but the excess vinegar ended up causing a kind of chemical cooking, making the dish more like ceviche. The main course was a risotto with tornador, which unfortunately came without any parmesan flavor. In addition, the tornador released a lot of liquid onto the risotto, compromising the presentation. To make matters worse, my plate was prepared one way and my wife's another, which is not up to the standard expected for a restaurant of this level. The dessert was a Bulgarian cake with ice cream. The cake was excellent, but the ice cream was not homemade, which was disappointing, as it seemed like an industrial product, but not of poor quality. Up until this point, these were just details that could be adjusted to improve the experience. However, what really ruined the evening was the appearance of a cockroach coming from the street into the Annex. My wife is terrified, she was quite shaken and, despite us warning the waiter, he did not know what to do. In the end, another customer solved the problem. This made me wonder if that place goes through proper pest control, something essential to avoid this type of situation. Afterwards, the waiter came to apologize, which was a positive gesture. Now, the strong points: the interior is very beautiful, sophisticated and intimate, finely decorated. There is an elegant dining room with live piano music, the bathrooms are clean, and the clientele is made up of elegant people who enjoy wine – the restaurant even has an interesting and varied wine list. Overall, the dishes are well-prepared and sophisticated, and the prices are in line with the restaurant's proposal. I believe there is a lot of potential for improvement, and I hope the restaurant pays attention to these details, especially in relation to the Annex, to provide an experience that lives up to the restaurant's proposal.
